The programme encourages the regular school attendance by: a) increasing student’s ability to concentrate during school hours by reducing short-term hunger; b) improving children’s intake of nutritious foods; c) contributing to create a more hospitable school environment; and d) enhancing social cohesion among Lebanese and Syrian students. |
