Questo progetto mira ad assicurare le necessità di protezione di: i) i rifugiati afgano ritornati, ii) Profughi interni Afghani (IDPs) iii) le comunità vulnerabili, incluse le popolazioni miste (residenti e rifugiati), in aree urbane e peri-urbane con un alto numero di profughi con particolare enfasi per le donne. Il progetto contribuirà al raggiungimento agli obiettivi strategici generali di UNHCR: 1) Facilitare il rimpatrio volontario di rifugiati afgani; 2) Sostenere la co-esistenza pacifica tra le comunità ospitanti e i rifugiati rimpatriati registrati per rendere l’integrazione più sostenibile; 3) Rafforzare i servizi per i rifugiati rimpatriati registrati e vulnerabili, IDPs e rifugiati identificati attraverso il programma “Persone con Specifiche Necessità” (PSN). Le attività includeranno: • Gestione di quattro “Centri di registrazione” (encashment center) e il pagamento del cash grant per i rifugiati ritornati e registrati; • Attività di protezione “Community Based” aggiornate tramite il monitoraggio della protezione. • Assistenza a persone con necessità specifiche. I beneficiari diretti saranno 6,500 rifugiati che ritornano in Afghanistan che riceveranno il “Cash Grants” e 600 rifugiati repatriati e IDPs con specifiche necessità. Il progetto prevede anche di quattro iniziative “community based” di protezione in aree di reinsediamento dei repatriati e/o IDPs di cui beneficeranno anche le popolazioni locali. |

The direct beneficiaries will be 6,500 refugees returning to Afghanistan who will receive the "Cash Grants" and 600 repatriated refugees and IDPs with specific needs. The project also foresees four "community based" protection initiatives in areas of resettlement of repatriates and / or IDPs, which will also benefit local populations. |
