Grazie alla vocazione agroalimentare del territorio di Parma (città Creativa Unesco per la Gastronomia) si vuole promuovere un approccio di filiera alla coltivazione del pomodoro e la costituzione di un consorzio di trasformazione del prodotto. A tale scopo il Comune di Parma ha coinvolto significative istituzioni (CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, CNA ), Università di Parma (Dipartimento di Scienze degli alimenti) ed enti del territorio (Azienda agraria sperimentale Stuard) con riconosciute competenze tecniche e di analisi per trasferire know how ed esperienza della propria filiera del pomodoro che rappresenta una delle eccellenze italiane a livello mondiale. |
| vocab:Description_en | The territorial partnership between Parma and Bujumbura was officially presented in March 2019 at the Italian diplomatic representation and the local institutions. The shared commitment aims at strengthening the local agri-food sector to promote employment, food security and the capacity of the Municipality of Bujumbura for socio-economic development and the valorisation of its territory. Thanks to the agri-food vocation of the territory of Parma (Unesco Creative City for Gastronomy), the project’s goal is to promote a supply chain approach for the cultivation of tomatoes and to establish a product transformation consortium. To this aim, the Municipality of Parma has involved significant institutions (CNR National Research Council, CNA), the University of Parma (Department of Food Sciences) and technical partners (Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard) with recognized expertise in transferring know-how along the tomato supply chain which is recognised worldwide as an Italian excellence. |
