Il progetto ha due componenti distinte, implementate da due enti esecutori distinti: 1) Regional Health Bureau del Tigray: il progetto mira allo sviluppo delle risorse umane e all’equipaggiamento dei centri di sanità per migliorare la salute materno-infantile e contenere il problema del Non-Communicable-Diseases attraverso il Family Health, un approccio completo centrato sulla famiglia e sulla comunità.2) Istituto Superiore della Sanità: il progetto ha l’obiettivo di contribuire al raggiungimento del target 90-90-90 del Joint United Nations Programme sull’HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS): diagnosi per il 90% delle infezioni da HIV; terapia per il 90% delle persone con diagnosi di HIV; abbattimento della carica virale nel 90% delle persone in trattamento con antiretrovirali contribuendo al miglioramento della retention in ART e all’assunzione corretta della terapia dai PLHIV nella regione del Tigray/Ethiopia. |

It has two different components, both implemented by two distinct executing bodies: 1) Tigray Regional Health Bureau: the project aims to develop human resources and to provide equipment in health centers with the specific objective of ameliorating maternal and child health and also containing the problem of Non-Communicable Diseases through Family Health, a comprehensive and integrated approach centered on the family and community. 2) Istituto Superiore della Sanità: the project has the objective of contributing to the achievement of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) target 90-90-90: diagnose 90% of all people living with HIV; treat 90% of people who know their status; and suppress the virus in 90% of people on treatment contributing to improve the retention in ART and adherence to therapy of PLHIV in the Tigray Region. |
