CICR visiterà i detenuti nei luoghi di detenzione temporanea e permanente in conformità con le sue procedure standard e lavorerà con le autorità per garantire l'accesso dei detenuti a un'alimentazione e assistenza sanitaria adeguate. CICR garantirà l'accettazione da parte di tutte le parti in conflitto e dei membri influenti della società delle attività umanitarie neutrali, imparziali e indipendenti della Mezzaluna Rossa afgana e di CICR stessa, ricorderà inoltre loro gli obblighi, ai sensi del DIU, di proteggere le persone che non hanno mai partecipato o non partecipano più alle ostilità, comprese quelle che cercano o forniscono cure mediche. |
| vocab:Description_en | The Italian Contribution aims to support ICRC Assistance, Protection, Prevention and Cooperation Activities in Afghanistan. ICRC will focus on providing livelihood support for vulnerable households and on supporting the empowerment of health-care services and on improving access to water. With financial and technical assistance from the ICRC, members of families separated by armed conflict or in detention will stay in touch through family-links and services provided by the National Society. ICRC will visit detainees in places of temporary and permanent detention in accordance with its standard procedures and will work with the authorities to ensure detainees’ access to adequate nutrition and health care. ICRC will secure acceptance from all parties to conflict, and from influential members of society, for the neutral, impartial and independent humanitarian activities of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and the ICRC and will remind them of their obligations under IHL to protect people who are not or are no longer participating in hostilities, including those seeking or providing medical care. |
