This will enable people with disabilities to continue having access to good-quality treatment and/or devices at ICRC-run physical rehabilitation centres or, for those in remote areas, through outreach activities. <br>Housebound patients will receive assistance to ease their living conditions.<br>The ICRC will facilitate disabled patients’ social reintegration through sports and by supporting their pursuits of livelihoods and education. <br>It will help making physical rehabilitation services throughout the<br>country more sustainable – by helping service providers and national health agencies to improve their ability to deliver such services, and by gradually handing over the management of facilities to local staff.<br> |
