| vocab:Description | Il progetto creerà un incubatore di imprese a Nairobi per sostenere l'avvio o il ridimensionamento di PMI locali (20 per ogni anno di attuazione). Le PMI verranno selezionate in base al loro potenziale impatto sociale e ambientale e alla loro rilevanza per "Kenya Vision 2030" e in base alle priorità italiane cooperazione allo sviluppo. L'imprenditoria femminile e giovanile sarà incoraggiata; ogni anno verranno selezionate due imprese dello slum di Kibera. Inoltre, un fondo di investimento filantropico finanzierà le imprese dopo il periodo di incubazione. Il progetto sarà considerato un'iniziativa pilota nel campo della partnership tra mondo accademico, settore privato e istituzioni pubbliche (tripla elica) per promuovere l'imprenditorialità e la creazione di posti di lavoro in Kenya con un possibile ampliamento dell'ambito dell'Africa orientale e dell'Africa subsahariana. Pertanto, uno studio preliminare di fattibilità e una costante attività di M & E saranno condotti da un centro di ricerca indipendente. |

The project will be considered a pilot initiative in the field of partnership between academia, the private sector and public institutions (triple helix) to promote entrepreneurship and job creation in Kenya with a possible broader scope to Eastern Africa and Sub- Saharan Africa.
