| vocab:Description | Il progetto è costruito sul partenariato tra Save the Children Italia, MEDPAK Association, il Dipartimento di Scienze dell'Educazione “Giovanni Maria Bertin” dell'Università di Bologna (UNIBO) e Save the Children International (SCI) – Albania Country Office.L’obiettivo generale del progetto è: “Tutti i bambini in Albania sviluppano il proprio potenziale migliorando i risultati di apprendimento.” I diretti beneficiari del progetto saranno i bambini in età prescolare compresi quelli con disabilità, i quali beneficieranno di opportunità di apprendimento inclusive e di un’educazione di qualità nelle municipalità di Korce ed Elbasan.Il progetto verterà sui tre pilastri dell’educazione inclusiva: “accesso”, “qualità” e “rafforzamento istituzionale”. Operatori sanitari, insegnanti ed rappresentanti delle istituzioni verranno formati per riconoscere tempestivamente le disabilità. Le comunità target beneficeranno di 2 nuovi nido inclusivi. Grazie a forme di collaborazione interuniversitaria, si introdurrà un programma inclusivo e centrato sui bambini in asili nido e scuole materne, che possa essere replicato anche in altre regioni. Si influenzerà positivamente il tasso di iscrizione a nido/scuola materna e si supporteranno le università e municipalità di Korce e di Elbasan in un’ottica di sostenibilità di lungo periodo.Attraverso questo progetto di 3 anni, Save the Children e i suoi partner garantiscono il raggiungimento dei seguenti risultati:1. Ai bambini vulnerabili è garantito un migliore accesso all’educazione prescolare attraverso l’identificazione tempestiva di problemi nello sviluppo, adeguate strutture scolastiche ed una maggiore consapevolezza delle famiglie e comunità di appartenenza.2. I bambini in età prescolare, con particolare attenzione ai bambini con disabilità, sono adeguatamente supportati nel loro apprendimento e sviluppo attraverso programmi educativi inclusivi di qualità centrati sul bambino.3. Le municipalità di Elbasan e Korce rafforzano la propria capacità di rispondere ai bisogni dei bambini con disabilità e delle loro famiglie.Nel corso del primo anno, il progetto è stato in grado di:I. Formare il personale dei centri sanitari di primo livello sul tema dell’inclusione dei bambini con disabilità della fascia 0-6 anni nelle regioni di Elbasan e Korce;II. Lanciare il master in Educazione Inclusiva nelle università di Elbasan e Korca, in collaborazione con l’Università di Bologna;III. Iniziare i lavori di costruzione di due asili nido a Elbasan e Korca.Progetto concluso. Risultati raggiunti secondo Quadro Logico. |

The overall objective of the project is: “All children in Albania, including children with disabilities, develop their potentials with improved learning outcomes.” <br> The project focus will be on Children aged 0-6 years including children with disabilities – who will benefit from inclusive learning opportunities and quality education in Elbasan and Korce municipalities.<br> The focus of the project will be built upon three main pillars: access, quality and institutional strengthening. <br>Health professionals, caregivers, teacher and local institution personnel will be trained to early identify development challenges. On the framework of the project, 2 inclusive crèches will be rehabilitated/constructed in Elbasan and Korce municipalities. Forms of collaboration between universities will be implemented in order to develop a child-focused, inclusive educational programme that will be rolled out to local nurseries and kindergartens, and possibly introduced across schools in other regions<br>The enrolment rate in nurseries and kindergartens will be increased and long-term sustainability of the universities and municipalities of Korce and Elbasan will be ensured. <br>Through this 3 years project, Save the Children and its partners will achieve the following results: <br>1. Vulnerable children have increased access to early child education through early identification of children with disabilities, new adequate education facilities and raised awareness. <br>2. An increased number of children aged 0-6, with special focus on children with disabilities, develop their potentials through inclusive and child centered education programs.<br>3. Elbasan and Korce municipalities’ capacities are strengthened to adequately address the needs of children with disabilities and their families.<br>During the first year, the project was able to:<br>I. To train the staff of first-level health centers on the inclusion of 0-6 age children with disabilities in the in the regions of Elbasan and Korce;<br>II. Launch the master in Inclusive Education at the Universities of Elbasan and Korca, in collaboration with the University of Bologna;<br>III. Begin the construction of two crechès in Elbasan and Korca.<br>Project concluded and results achieved according to Logframe Matrix. |
