L’intervento  ha una prospettiva di lungo termine, basandosi  sull’idea che il futuro del turismo in Bosnia ed  Erzegovina sia connesso ad approcci sostenibili  basati sulla protezione del capitale naturale,  sull’importanza dell’inclusione di genere e sul  potenziale della tecnologia e dell’innovazione.  Imparando dalle lessons learned generate durante la  pandemia di COVID-19, che ha sconvolto il turismo a  livello globale e in Bosnia ed Erzegovina, il progetto  promuove un approccio rinnovato, con una maggiore  attenzione alla resilienza. La crisi del COVID-19 ha  infatti offerto una finestra di opportunità di sviluppo  turistico, originate dall’intersezione di mezzi di  sussistenza e posti di lavoro green, politiche e  investimenti che promuovono e salvaguardano il  turismo sostenibile e la protezione ambientale, una  maggiore consapevolezza della comunità e della  natura da parte dei turisti, come così come un uso  intensificato della tecnologia: un connubio vincente  multi-settoriale per aiutare il paese a riprendersi  dalla pandemia e alla transizione verso un settore  turistico più sostenibile e resiliente. Attraverso  questo progetto, l’UNDP intende ampliare e  diversificare ulteriormente le partnership formate  finora e lanciare una piattaforma di supporto al  turismo sostenibile nel paese, come parte di una retedi partenariato regionale." ;

              "The initiative capitalizes on the achievements of the  two previous phases of the “Via Dinarica” project in  Bosnia and Herzegovina and to give further impetus  aiming to further promote the Via Dinarica  destination, not only locally and regionally, but also  on the global tourism map. The intervention has a  future-looking perspective that rests on the notion  that the future of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina  is connected to sustainable and nature-based  approaches, gender responsive green growth and  livelihoods, amplified by technology and innovation.  Learning from the lessons generated during the  COVID-19 pandemic that upended tourism globally  and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Project embraces  a renewed approach, with stronger focus on  resilience. Yet, the COVID-19 crisis offered a windowof opportunity for renewed tourism development  approaches, designed at the intersection of green  livelihoods and jobs, policies and investments that  promote and safeguard sustainable tourism and  environmental protection, increased community and  tourists’ nature consciousness, as well as intensified  technology use – a multi-angle-win to help the  country recover from the pandemic and transition  towards more sustainable and resilient tourism  sector. Through this project, UNDP further expands and diversifies partnerships forged so far and affirms  a platform of supporting sustainable tourism in the  country, as part of a regional partnership network." ;
