Description

The object of the proposal is the creation of a network of public and private health structures (No for Profit) recognized by the national health systems of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with the aim of improving the services offered in favour of womens and childrens health. with a specific focus on maternal and child health. The program includes specialized training and technical assistance. Covid-19 prevention and control activities are planned in the target health facilities. The program provides for the donation of a whole range of medical equipment and devices to complement the training provided to the medical staff of 33 health facilities in the region. Finally, structural interventions are planned in accordance with the needs identified in the various areas of intervention, including the construction from scratch of the new maternity ward in the Malindi public hospital.
