General Objective By 2030, end the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases (Target 3.3, Agenda 2030) in Tanzania. Indicators - Number of AIDS-related deaths per 100,000 inhabitants: starting value 55,16; final value 52,4 - Rate of TB deaths per 100,000 inhabitants: starting value 35; final value 33,25 - Malaria deaths per year: rate per 100,000 people per year: starting value 12200; final value 11590 Specific Objective Supporting local partners in promoting quality and effective preventive and curative health services, removing barriers to access for the most vulnerable populations affected by the three diseases (the last mile), encouraging community-based measures to increase accessibility to services and ensuring that patients rights are safeguarded.
