Description

The initiative, which will be integrated in the Lebanese social framework, provides a multi-sector intervention that aims over time to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable Iraqi minority belonging to the Christian-Chaldean community in Lebanon. It will have a specific focus on Education, Empowerment, Protection and Social Cohesion. These sectors are, in fact, reported to be the most in need of intervention within the Christian-Chaldean community according to an analysis carried out by ICU staff in Lebanon with the involvement of the community's reference institutions. In order to foster a peaceful coexistence between Christian minorities and people of other communities and to promote interreligious dialogue, an integrated and inclusive approach of neighbouring communities other than the Christian-Chaldean one was also chosen. read more close
