| vocab:Description | Il contributo della Cooperazione Italiana supporta le attività della Direzione Generale per la protezione civile e le operazioni di aiuto umanitario europee (DG ECHO) in Mali, con un focus sui settori della offerta educativa alternativa fornita in contesti di emergenza umanitaria e della protezione. Attualmente le azioni si concentrano prevalentemente nelle regioni centrali e settentrionali del Paese, ma considerando la volatilità del contesto e la degradazione delle condizioni di sicurezza, le necessità saranno definite periodicamente sulla base del Meccanismo di Risposta Rapido (RRM). Le azioni sostenute attraverso questo finanziamento risponderanno ai bisogni urgenti, valutati attraverso il meccanismo di risposta rapida (RMM), delle popolazioni vulnerabili colpite dal conflitto e dei profughi interni. In particolar modo, il finanziamento sarà utilizzato per: i) fornire un’offerta formativa alternativa ai bambini/e che non abbiano accesso al sistema educativo in seguito alla chiusura delle scuole o allo spostamento forzato causati dal conflitto; ii) assicurare la prevenzione, identificazione e presa in carico dei casi di protezione, onde fornire un’assistenza efficace e adatta al contesto; iii) favorire un approccio integrato, coordinato o complementare tra i diversi settori in risposta ai bisogni espressi. |
| vocab:Description_en | The Italian Cooperation’s financial contribution will support the activities implemented by the Directorate General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) in Mali. The priority sectors of the actions will be Education in emergency and Protection. Currently, the actions are mainly implemented in the North and Central regions, but needs will be periodically revised using the Rapid Response Mechanism (RMM) taking into consideration the context volatility and field insecurity. The actions supported by the financial contribution will provide adequate response to the urgent needs of vulnerable populations affected by the conflict and displaced people, as evaluated through the RRM. Specifically, the funds will be used to: i) provide alternative educational solutions to the kids having limited or no access to the education system as a consequence of school closure or displacement linked to the conflict itself; ii) ensure the prevention, identification, and response to protection cases, providing effective context-related assistance; iii) promote an integrated, coordinated or complimentary approach among the different sectors of the humanitarian response to the population needs. |
