The program includes specialized training and technical assistance. Covid-19 prevention and control activities are planned in the target health facilities. The program provides for the donation of a whole range of medical equipment and devices to complement the training provided to the medical staff of 33 health facilities in the region. Finally, structural interventions are planned in accordance with the needs identified in the various areas of intervention, including the construction from scratch of the new maternity ward in the Malindi public hospital. The program was written in collaboration with the Global Health Center of the Tuscany region and the 3 reference health ministries |
