| vocab:Description | Il progetto intende contribuire al miglioramento nella filiera del cacao in Costa d'Avorio, attraverso una piattaforma Software as Service, che consente di ottenere dei vantaggi nella supply chain alimentare, aumentandone la sostenibilità, soprattutto a favore dei produttori locali di materie prime e dei produttori/distributori di prodotti alimentari finiti, attraverso la trasparenza nelle transazioni e la tracciabilità dei processi tramite la tecnologia block chain. Mediante una piattaforma ("Trusty") i produttori dei prodotti finiti e gli agricoltori avranno a disposizione uno strumento che consente di informatizzare la supply chain mediante modalità semplificate ed efficienti, al fine di ridurre i tempi di trasferimento e generazione delle informazioni in una modalità che possa essere facilmente utilizzabile da ciascun attore della filiera. Inoltre, con l'utilizzo della piattaforma sarà possibile aumentare il prezzo di vendita dei prodotti finiti o delle materie prime di qualità superiore e permettere la realizzazione di progetti di sviluppo socio-economico delle comunità locali (plug-in payback). |

Furthermore, by using the platform it will be possible to increase the selling price of the products or of the raw materials and allow the implementation of socio-economic development projects for local communities (payback plug-in). |
