Dunque oggi chi importa zucchero daCuba ha la necessità di rilavorarlo per verificarne la qualità e trasformarlo in un formato adatto alla vendita(normalmente500gr).InoltreilCarlosBalino non dispone di attrezzature tecniche sufficienti per effettuare approfonditi controlli di natura chimica e biologica sul prodotto, tant’è che ad oggi è obbligato a d avvalersi del supporto di laboratori esterni. Cuban exports of this organic product are characterised by high quality, also due to Fairtrade certifications, but by an incomplete production chain: Cubas main sugar plant, the idad Basica de Producción-Central-Carlos Balino (CarlosBaiino), produces sugar packed in 50kg bags and does not have the technology and know-how to produce a product ready for BtoC. In addition to this, Carlos Balino does not have sufficient technical equipment to carry out in-depth chemical and biological tests on the product, and is currently obliged to use the support of external laboratories. Thanks to this project, the sugar refinery will be provided with the know-how and equipment to overcome these limitations |
