The overall goal of the critical readiness and action response plan is to support the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Health (PA MoH) to stop the human-to-human transmission of the COVID-19 and care for those affected. The plan aims to accelerate the strengthening of their capacity to prevent, early detect and respond to COVID-19 outbreak. It will also help to coordinate and streamline work with partners and mobilize the needed resources for implementing the plan. Additionally, WHO will provide support to maintain critical services for patients that may not receive treatment due to re-orientation of health services for management of COVID-19 patients. |
