It is aligned with the country-wide sustainable returns approach, aiming at providing support to returnees and to support returns for some of the communities that have been most affected by the conflict in the country, such as the Yazidis. The technical component of the project will focus on the provision of water service in some mostly rural centres in the Sinjar District by rehabilitating and/or replacing damaged assets related to water distribution. The initiative foresees the inclusion of innovative technologies such as renewable and hybrid systems when applicable. |
