| vocab:Description | Il progetto intende promuovere uno sviluppo rurale integrale inclusivo e sostenibile a Capo Verde, andando a superare le principali problematiche del paese, legate soprattutto agli effetti del cambiamento climatico. Il primo obiettivo quindi è quello di fare in modo che i produttori e le cooperative nelle catene di valore ortofrutticole e lattiero-casearie siano più organizzati, più inclusivi per donne e giovani, più resilienti agli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici nelle isole di Santiago e Fogo a Capo Verde. Produttori e produttrici saranno coinvolti in processi di analisi, identificazione e proposte di soluzione per una migliore efficienza ed efficacia delle filiere ortofrutticole e lattiero-casearie. Gli aspetti di adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici, così come gli aspetti relativi all'organizzazione sociale saranno presi in considerazione in quanto identificati con una delle cause principali della bassissima produttività. Si ottiene un'articolazione in 4 risultati: il primo legato alle catene di valore, il secondo alle misure di mitigazione e adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici, il terzo alla modifica e sperimentazione di tecniche innovative e sostenibili di produzione e il quarto legato agli aspetti organizzativi e sociali di associazioni di produttori e cooperative agricole. Beneficiari, soggetti pubblici e privati saranno chiamati a dialogare e trovare insieme soluzioni praticabili e adatte al contesto, dove Coopermondo e COSPE proporranno buone pratiche sperimentate e conosciute sia in italia che in altre parti del mondo. Il secondo obiettivo prevede di lavorare sugli aspetti più sociali e con le categorie più vulnerabili, le donne e i giovani. Ci si aspetta che donne e giovani di Fogo e Santiago trovino nuovi spazi di inclusione lavorativa nelle catene di valore ortofrutticole e lattiero-casearie. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo occorre un'articolazione di 3 risultati: da una parte serve intervenire su innovazioni e nuove proposte lavorative, anche private, nella catena di valore, a cui giovani e donne possano avere accesso. In secondo luogo, devono essere sradicate dinamiche di violenza di genere e familiare o luoghi comuni, secondo cui alcuni impieghi ad esempio, sono adatti solo a donne o uomini. Anche nelle famiglie monoparentali, spesso le donne si ritrovano a non poter effettuare le proprie scelte in modo autonomo. Infine, devono essere garantiti degli spazi di dialogo e partecipazione pubblici, dove le istanze e proposte delle donne e dei giovani, così come quelle dei produttori e produttrici possano essere accolti e implementati. |
| vocab:Description_en | The project aims to promote an inclusive and sustainable integral rural development in Cape Verde, getting over the central issues of the country, principally linked to the effects of climate change. The first objective is to ensure that producers and cooperatives in fruit, vegetable and dairy value chains are more organized, more inclusive for women and young people, more resilient to the effects of climate change on the islands of Santiago and Fogo of Cape Verde. Producers will be involved in processes of analysis, identification and solution proposals for a better efficiency and effectiveness of the fruit and vegetable and dairy chains. Adaptation to climate change and issues related to social organization will be considered during the project as they have been identified with one of the main causes of low productivity. In this way four results should be achieved: the first one is linked to the value chains, the second one to the mitigation and adaptation measures to climate changes, the third one to the modification and testing of innovative and sustainable production techniques and the fourth is linked to the organizational and association aspects of associations of producers and agricultural cooperatives. Beneficiaries, public and private subjects, will be called to dialogue and find together viable solutions, proper for the context, where COOPERMONDO and COSPE will share practices historically experimented Italy and in other parts of the world. The second objective aims to tackle social aspects, in particular with the most vulnerable categories already mentioned. The expectations are that women and young people of Santiago and Fogo will find new work inclusion areas in the value chains of fruit and vegetables and dairy products. To achieve this goal we need to articulate 3 results: on the one hand we need to take action on innovations and new work proposals, including private ones, in the value chain, to which young people and women can have access. Secondly, the dynamics of gender and family violence or common places must be eradicated, according to which some jobs, for example are considered suitable only for women or men. In this way, even in single-parent families case, women are unable to make their own choices autonomously. Finally, public dialogue and participation spaces must be guaranteed, where the requests and proposals of women and young people, as well as those of producers, can be accepted and implemented. |
