Activities will focus on two main component of the overall UNMAS strategy: a) assessments, survey and explosive hazard management; b) mine risk education and awareness to IDPs and host communities. The geographical focus of the explosive hazard management and risk education activities will be in Mosul city and Ninewa Province, with specific clearance activities focussing on cultural heritage sites of old city of Mosul. |
