La frammentazione del sistema dell’alta formazione albanese e la mancanza di infrastrutture tecnologiche non consente alle università di svolgere efficacemente le loro attività educative e collaterali (ricerca, collaborazione con università straniere, erogazione di servizi, ecc.). Il progetto, in linea con le priorità albanesi, intende quindi contribuire al rafforzamento del sistema, affrontandone le principali debolezze strutturali, riguardanti, in particolare, la qualità dell’insegnamento, l’amministrazione e la gestione delle università e la connessione con le reti Europee dell’alta formazione e della ricerca. L’iniziativa prevede la creazione di un Centro Servizi Interuniversitario, che promuova: i) la partecipazione di professori e ricercatori albanesi alle ricerche internazionali; ii) l’adozione di sistemi informativi a supporto delle attività delle università; iii) la creazione di una rete telematica accademica nazionale, connessa con quella Italiana ed Europea. Il progetto prevede il coinvolgimento sia di Istituzioni albanesi (Ministero dell’Educazione e dello Sport e 8 Università), che italiane (Ministero Affari Esteri e Cooperazione Internazionale, Conferenza Rettori Italiani e Università italiane). |
| vocab:Description_en | THIS INITIATIVE AIMS AT THE SETTING OF EUROPEAN STANDARDS FOR ALBANIAN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH , THROUGH THE CREATION OF A TELEMATIC NETWORK AMONG ALBANIAN UNIVERSITIES AND THEIR CONNECTION TO THE ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN RESEARCH NETWORKS. <br>The fragmentation of the higher education system in Albania and the lack of technological infrastructures do not allow universities to efficiently carry out their educational and complementary activities (research, collaboration with foreign universities, provision of services, etc.). Therefore the project, in line with the Albanian priorities, aims at contributing to the strengthening of the system, tackling key structural weaknesses regarding, in particular, the quality of teaching, the university administration and management and the connection with the European networks of higher education and research. The project foresees the establishment of an Interuniversity Service Centre, in charge of promoting: i) the participation of Albanian professors and researchers to international researches; ii) the adoption of information systems to support the university activities; iii) the establishment of a national academic ICT network connected with Italian and European networks. The project involves both Albanian (Ministry of Education and Sport and 8 Universities) and Italian (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Conference of the Italian Rectors and Italian Universities) Institutions.<br> |
